I'm working with an EU-project together with IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute whose objective is to measure concentrations and map transports of mercury in air, sea water, sea ice and snow. The EU-project Global Mercury Observation System (GMOS) is a five-year project (started in 2010), where we and IVL are responsible for a gauging station at Råö where continuous measurements of mercury species in air are monitored. The project also includes measurements of dissolved gaseous mercury in water during research expeditions at sea.
