| Historian active in the fields of history of science and environmental history. Primarily does research on shifting ideas about landscape, heritage and mobility during the 19th and 20th century. Relations between movement (running, skiing, walking, herding, hunting etc.) and landscape, and how certain landscapes have been shaped by small-scale landscape use for long periods of time, are important aspects. This research about historical landscape use and landscapes as cultural heritage relate to questions about sustainable development and the role of science in such a development. |
