Reasearch / work
My research is focused on the behaviour ecology of fishes, especially salmonids, with an interdisciplinary approach including evolutionary and physiological aspects. I have studied the effects of domestication selection and of the hatchery environment on fish behaviour as well as how releases and escapes of hatchery-produced fish affect natural populations. I collaborate with research groups at GU, the Swedish National Board of Fisheries and with groups from Canada, Norway, Scotland and Spain.
