My PhD research project focuses, broadly, on issues of social sustainability, intersectionality, power and environmental justice within climate politics in cities in Sweden. I am currently, more specifically, analysing grassroots sustainability transition projects for sustainable consumption and alternative economies within the city of Gothenburg, as well as the role of the municipality and local governance in such transitions. Other research interests include: Political ecology, social movements, indigenous rights, nature-society relationships, urban politics and ecologies, food systems, posthumanism, creative more-than-representational methodologies, to mention a few.
