Teaching I have taught the following courses at the undergraduate level: ‘The Global Climate System’, ‘Micro- and Local Climatology’, and ‘Applied Climatology’. I also developed and taught several Ph.D. courses both in Germany and in Sweden. These include: ‘Dynamics and Climate Modelling’ at University of Bremen, ‘Modelling in Physical Geography’ at Göteborg och Stockholm University, ‘Meteorology Today for Scientists and Engineers’ at Chalmers University of Technology, and ‘Computerised Environmental Modelling’ at Göteborg University. Research I am senior lecturer in Physical Meteorology at the Department of Earth Sciences, Göteborg University. I became Associate Professor in the subject in 1996. In general, my research interests include application of mathematical modelling and applied meteorology and climatology. Specifically, I have a strong interest in regional climate variability in Sweden, regional UV radiation and ozone variationer, and air pollution studies in the Gothenburg area.
